For further information on the language or length of the presentation, please contact the division or working group at which you will be giving the presentation.
Lecturers are requested to provide their presentations electronically. All lecture rooms are equipped with a projector (“beamer”) mainly with HDMI input. OHPs are not available.
Laptops must be provided by the speakers as well as all associated adapters (e. g. HDMI to VGA, Apple-adapter). Furthermore, the presentation should be recorded onto an USB stick as back-up in PDF and Power Point format.
All laptops must be set up and connected with the data projector before the start of the respective session. All rooms will be opened, at latest, 30 minutes prior to the lecture. Speakers are requested to be in the lecture room at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the session, to report to the chairperson as well as the technical staff, to ensure that the laptops handshake with the beamer, and to receive a brief introduction to the equipment in the lecture room.
