Physics is a very dry matter using many technical terms, formulas and incomprehensive ideas. So is the usual prejudice, which is in general not that wrong.
At the EinsteinSlam at the DPG Spring Meeting in Dresden at March 27th at the Audimax, scientist will prove, that this prejudice is not true.
The idea of the EinsteinSlam is very simple: the scientists have 10 minutes to present their research in an understandable, clear and entertaining way. Who‘s best will be decided by the audience.

We support the selected slammers with preparing their contribution. Further more, DPG covers your journey (within Germany) to Dresden including a one night at a hotel and your conference fee.
The slam will be held in English.
